Authentic Marshmallows

What are Marshmallows Made From?
Marshmallows. Ever wondered how they came to be? Today, the main fluffifying ingredient is gelatin. But it used to come from a mallow plant that grew in the marshes — the Marsh-mallow! The confection we know & love today has roots in the early 1800’s in France and was made by whipping marshmallow root sap with egg white & sweetened with corn syrup. Learn More >
