Surprisingly delightful, these locally-sourced gems are a tasty treat. The most common reaction people have when they try these is, “Oh! Wow! These are quite yummy!” These candied peels come from a select variety of oranges including Cara Cara, Arizona Sweet, Tangelo, and Valencia, or White Grapefruit (as seasonally available).
Description
Candied peel can also be used as a garnish; as an ingredient for cookies, cakes, or breads; dipped in chocolate; as a base for marmalade; or as a tisane (herbal tea).
